Hundreds of NYSNA Members Sign Resolution Demanding a Search for New Executive Director

Over 400 NYSNA Members from around the state signed onto the Accountability and Transparency Resolution.

Now will the Board of Directors allow the Convention Delegates to vote on this common sense resolution.

According to the Bylaws there is resolutions committee, however no one seems to know who is on it. Shouldn’t this information be public? Shouldn’t we all know who is making these decisions? If fact, no one seems to know who is on most of the committees called for in the bylaws.

The only people who apparently are on almost every committee are Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez the President and Pat Kane the Treasurer.

Will the Board of Directors send all the resolutions to the Convention Delegates as they did with the Proposed Bylaws Changes

Will the resolutions make it to the convention floor? Last year at least 10 resolutions were never voted on because “time ran out.” Maybe this year someone will run the meeting who is capable of insuring all the business of the meeting can be concluded.

But, maybe the goal is to make sure Delegates don’t get a chance to vote on the most important issues!
