Resolution calling for Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez and Pat Kane to Resign Immediately

We have finally learned who the members of at least one Committee are.

Resolutions Committee: Chairperson Pat Kane (now there’s a surprise🙄) Cindy Caruso, Judith Cutchin, Nancy Hagans, Karine Raymond, Jalisa Saud, Mary Simon and Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez

Resolution Calling for Compliance with NYSNA’s By-Laws Regarding Improper Salaries for Board Members:

We here at NYSNA I See You have raised this issue before. We are heartened to see that others have the same concerns. We hope all of the delegates get a full understanding of just how corrupt this practice is. We also understand that it may be illegal.

WHEREAS, for the past two years, despite the clear language of our By-laws, NYSNA Treasurer Pat Kane, and President Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez have received a salary from NYSNA, in direct violation of NYSNA’s bylaws, amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars;*(2

WHEREAS, there is no structure under our By-laws for board members to receive a salary, there is also no oversight of this process; And

Department of Labor charges are being investigated and will be filed in accordance with the law.

WHEREAS, these Officers have breached their fiduciary duty to the organization; RESOLVED, that the delegate body of NYSNA demands the following:

1.NYSNA Treasurer Pat Kane and NYSNA President Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez immediately resign from their respective positions;

There is a Bylaw Change calling to Term Limit out the President and Treasure and a Resolution calling for them to resign! Can’t they take a hint!

2. All records concerning payments made to either Pat Kane or Judy Sheridan- Gonzalez in the last five years be submitted to an outside independent auditing firm who shall make an assessment and determination regarding the amounts paid, and to what extent any monies may or may not have been proper

Something we would all like to see. From Club Med to Club Fed!
