94.53% Yes Vote
Sorry I didn’t write this sooner but it has been a very busy week ratifying OUR CONTRACT! We achieved the absolute best contract we have ever had. We will be phasing in ratios and we have an enforcement mechanism.
For the first time in longer than I can remember we won’t be working without a contract for years. Judith Cutchin did a fabulous job with our negotiators Jill Furillo and Leon Bell. Jill made sure our contract got settled before she left. She knows how destructive and incompetent Judy and Pat are.
We got improvements in almost everything, certification pay, education differential, a retention bonus that starts in the first year, and we are beginning to close the wage gap.
We were able to accomplish these major gains not because of Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez and Pat Kane but in spite of them. They kept trying to Invade our negotiations but we wouldn’t let them Attend.
One of Judy’s stooges Sean Petty tried to divide us and undermine Judith but she put him in his place. We stayed united and strong!
Now we must all stay united and strong while we work for a better NYSNA.
