Find Themselves Not Guilty!
Several months ago a group of NYSNA Nurses filed charges with the NYSNA Board of Directors against President Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez and then Treasurer Pat Kane. Finally at the end of December they received a response.
Not Guilty!!!
Why are they not guilty? Just like management they claim the charges were untimely! Just like management no real investigation took place! And just like management they are great, and everything they do is great!
The real union Judy claims to have created, uses a union buster as a consultant, fires women of color (2nd article), and promote unqualified cronies that will do whatever Judy tells her to.
This is much more like the Boss than any “real union”!

We have repeatedly requested an independent investigation
Self-investigation is not unbiased or thorough and our union members are entitled and deserving of an independent investigation. I do not see how either Patricia Kane or Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez ever expect themselves to be truly cleared in the eyes of members without an independent investigation. They can claim they were cleared, like at the Delegate Convention, but there will always be a dark cloud over their heads and doubts in member’s minds. That is not leadership.
An appeal to this outrageous decision was sent to the Board of Directors and it too was denied!
How can the people who claim to represent the membership not even bother having a real investigation into very serious charges. This is worse than Mitch McConnell’s Senate! Maybe that’s why Nancy Hagen is too embarrassed to even sign the responses.
